FHP Looking for Suspect Involved in Hit and Run of a Child

On August 22, 2019 at approximately 4:38 p.m., the white male driver of a blue Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck struck a child pedestrian when he was walking on Excalibur Street near Flora Avenue in Holiday, FL. The white male driver fled the scene and was last seen traveling westbound on Gaslight Avenue.  The child suffered injuries as a result of the crash.

HCSO Detectives Search for Suspect Who Fled After Hitting Pedestrian in Plant City

On August 9, 2019 at approximately 11:00 p.m., a 63 yoa male was walking southbound on the east side of N Forbes Road in Plant City, just south
of US Highway 92 E., when he was struck by a passing vehicle traveling northbound.  The victim died as a result of the injuries he sustained.  Witnesses described seeing a dark-colored pickup truck or SUV leaving the scene shortly after the incident.

Plant City Detectives Ask for Information from the Public to Help Identify Suspects

On July 7, 2019, just prior to closing, a verbal dispute inside Duke’s Brewhouse Restaurant located at 2212 James L. Redman Parkway in Plant City escalated to an incident involving several patrons outside.  An adult male victim was severely battered in the parking lot and sustained injuries requiring medical attention.  After the incident, the suspects left together in the same vehicle.  Surveillance video captured photos of the suspects involved. 
 
Detectives are asking for information that would help identify the unknown suspects as well as any photographs or video of the incident.

TPD Detectives Work to Identify Theft Suspect

On July 9, 2019, shortly after 4:30 p.m., an unknown black female entered JC Penney's located at 201 Westshore Plaza, within Westshore Mall, and selected a variety of merchandise.  The suspect fled the store without paying for the items valued at $1,851.  The suspect was captured on store surveillance video.

TPD Detectives Work to Identify Shooting Suspect

STATUS: OPEN
On May 24, 2019 at 11:05 p.m., the victim and suspect, identified as Edward Evans, 29 yoa, engaged in a physical altercation at 4015 Wyoming Avenue West in Tampa when the suspect punched the victim in the mouth.  The suspect and an unknown black male, described as being 40-45 yoa and 5'09", left the residence in the suspect's vehicle.  They circled the block then returned pulling up behind the victim.  The unknown black male exited the vehicle armed with a semi-automatic handgun.  The victim fled on foot at which time the black male suspect shot the victim causing injuries.  
 
Law enforcement is asking for information to help identify the unknown black male suspect.  Edward Evans currently has an outstanding warrant for VOP Criminal Mischief and Battery 2nd or Subsequent Offense.

Pasco Detectives Work to Identify Home Invasion Suspect Who Attacked an Elderly Man
June 15, 2019

STATUS: OPEN
On June 14, 2019 between 5:24 p.m. and 5:42 p.m., an unknown white male in his 20's entered a residence in the 1600 block of Duda Road in Hudson while wearing a mask.  The armed suspect attacked the elderly resident who is in his 90's and demanded the keys to his vehicle.   The suspect fled in the victim's silver 2010 Nissan 4-door Frontier with Florida tag Z11EIC.  The vehicle has a front plate that says "Frank" and a hitch on the back.  The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result.  The stolen vehicle has been recovered by law enforcement.

FDLE Agents Seek Information from the Public in Starbucks Burglaries

On June 6, 2019, at approximately 11:00 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the Starbucks located at 8229 Parkedge Drive in Tampa through the front door after manipulating the locking mechanism.  While inside, the suspect dismantled part of the security camera system and then broke into the safe and took an undisclosed amount of cash. 
 
Law enforcement believe that the burglary is related to other similar burglaries that have occurred throughout the state.  Surveillance video captured the suspect entering and dismantling the camera surveillance system.

Plant City Detectives Search for Suspect Stealing Perfume

On June 1, 2019 an unknown female entered the Ulta Beauty located at 243 Alexander Street West in Plant City.  While inside the store, she selected and concealed over $2,000 worth of Lancôme Fragrances in a large Victoria Secret bag.  She appears to be in her 20's or early 30's, between 5'7" to 5'9", approximately 130 lbs., long blonde hair, visible tattoos and was last seen wearing purple scrubs.  The suspect left the store without paying for the items.

TPD Detectives Work to Identify Suspect Stealing in Downtown Tampa

On April 15, 2019 at 3:51 p.m., an unknown black male took the victim's wallet without permission at 505 Jackson Street East #310 in Tampa.  The victim was able to find the suspect and retrieve her wallet.  The suspect was captured on surveillance video during a separate incident in the downtown area.  He has been identified as the suspect who took the victim's wallet.  Detectives believe that he could be responsible for other similar cases in the area.
 
The black male is older, bald and last seen walking with a cane.
