On June 3, 2019 at approximately 12:30 a.m., three white males forced their way into the residence of 11114 Taft Drive in Port Richey. The suspects held two victims at gun point with rifle style weapons and ransacked the house. The suspects took an AR-5 rifle and drugs from the residence.
The white males range between 20-40 yoa, heights ranging from 5'08"-6', thin to medium builds and they were last seen wearing dark clothing.

On May 27, 2019 at approximately 6:00 a..m, the victim was shot by an unknown suspect at 15611 Lilly Lane in Hudson. The victim was hospitalized from the injuries he sustained. The victim was identified as Jamie Lee Kay, 24 yoa.

HCSO Detectives Investigate "Cash Cash" Scam Thefts

On several dates in May, at the Walmart located at 4928 Highway 674 in Wimauma, several unknown subjects entered the store and filled a shopping cart with merchandise including gift cards. At the register, one suspect distracts the clerk while the other reaches over the counter and selects the tender button "cash cash" on the register without the clerk's knowledge. The suspects then exit the store without paying for the items. In each case, the clerk did not realize the suspects did not pay for the merchandise until they left the store.
On May 13, 2019 two black females left with approximately $538 worth of merchandise. They fled in an unknown make and model gold colored 4-door
sedan. On May 15, 2019 two black males left with approximately $429 worth of merchandise. They are believed to be in their mid to late 20's and fled in a
newer model white 4-door sedan with a sunroof (possibly a Mercedes Benz). On May 7, 2019 two black males left with approximately $1499.29 worth of merchandise.
Surveillance video captured the suspects involved in the thefts.

TPD Detectives Investigate Suspects Attempting Multiple Purchases with Stolen Credit Card

Overnight on May 12, 2019 an unknown suspect entered the victim's unlocked vehicle and took her purse containing credit cards. Shortly after at 1:50 a.m., a Hispanic male attempted to use one of the stolen credit cards at the 7-11 located at 6845 22nd Street North. The suspect and another Hispanic male were caught on surveillance video attempting to purchase gas for an orange compact car. Both suspects then attempt to purchase speakers at Walmart located at 2701 Fletcher Avenue East, however, the transaction was declined. The victim's purse was found abandoned on Shadowlawn Avenue East.

TPD Detectives Work to Identify Suspects Using Stolen Credit Card

On May 11, 2019 at 8:30 p.m., unknown suspect(s) broke into an unlocked vehicle parked at 6401 Clark Avenue South in Tampa and stole the victim's credit card that was in the center console. Approximately 1 hour later, unknown suspects used the stolen credit card at Alpine Liquor Store located at 7501 Nebraska Avenue North to purchase liquor. The suspects also attempted to use the stolen card at the Nebraska Food Mart across the street. Video surveillance from both stores captured photos of the suspects.

Pasco Detectives Search for Suspect Who Carjacked Elderly Man

On May 9, 2019 at approximately 3:20 p.m., an unknown male approached the victim, an 88 year old man, as he exited his vehicle in the Beall's parking lot located at 12125 US Highway 19. The suspect held a gun to the victim's side while demanding his wallet. When the victim did not have anything to give, the suspect pushed the victim to the ground causing him to sustain minor injuries, then took his car keys and fled with the victim's car.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black or Hispanic male in his 40's to 50's, 5'06"-5'07", approximately 160 lbs. and wearing all black clothing and sunglasses. The suspect was clean shaven with short hair. The victim's vehicle was located less than a mile south of the parking lot. A witness there observed a light skinned black male exit the vehicle. The witness recognized the driver as someone whose name is possibly Allen or is referred to as "Killa" or "Killer".

On February 10, 2019 an unknown female fraudulently used the victim's credit card at Best Buy located at 18071 Highwoods Preserve Parkway in Tampa. The suspect made a large purchase with the credit card without the victim's permission. The victim had recently lost her wallet at a restaurant nearby.

On April 27, 2019 at 2:00 a.m., three (3) unknown suspects broke into a lot in East Tampa and took 3 motorized dirt bikes. The descriptions of the stolen bikes are: 2007 Suzuki RMX 85 (blue/yellow), 1997 Honda RX 63 (white/red) and a 2014 Honda CRF 150 RB (red/black) valued at an approximate total of $5,000. The suspects loaded the stolen bikes into an unknown make/model truck and fled the area.

On April 20, 2019 at 8:22 p.m., a white male drove a 40ft RV to the rear of the Family Dollar located at 4900 40th Street North in Tampa. He took a hand pallet jack and loaded it into the RV. The RV is two-toned with a pattern through the middle and has been seen parked at 2810 N. 29th Street.

HCSO Detectives Search for Cigarette Thieves

On April 26, 2019 at 4:50 a.m., three unknown black males entered Thorntons located at 4103 Gunn Highway in Tampa. One suspect distracted the clerk while the other two suspects entered the rear storage area. The suspects took approximately 90 cartons of cigarettes valued at approximately $8,242 and fled through the emergency exit. A newer model silver 4-door sedan, being driven by a fourth suspect was utilized as their vehicle. Detectives believe the same group may of been responsible for attempting a similar theft at the Brandon Boulevard Thorntons.
