HCSO Detectives Look for Female Who Took Wallet from Shopping Cart

On April 21, 2019 at 12:06 p.m., the victim exited the Walmart located at 15302 Nebraska Avenue North in Tampa and left her wallet in the shopping cart she had been using.  An unknown white female entered the Walmart and selected the same shopping cart then took possession of the wallet.

HCSO Detectives Ask for Information to Identify Theft Suspects

On April 18, 2019 at 9:49 pm, two unknown black males entered the Walgreens Pharmacy located at 705 Pebble Beach Boulevard North in Sun City Center.  The suspect selected a Footlocker gift card, Vanilla Visa card and other miscellaneous items valued at $766.40.  A second suspect distracted the clerk while the first suspect pushed the cash button on the register to indicate a valid transaction.  The suspects then left the store without paying for the items.  Law enforcement believe the suspects may also be involved in two other similar incidents.

TPD Detectives Search for Suspect Who Robbed Victims at Tampa Motel

On April 15, 2019 at 1:05 am, an unknown black male approached the victims on the 3rd floor of the Sunset Inn motel located at 2106 Busch Boulevard East in Tampa.  The suspect pointed a small handgun at them and demanded the victim's wallet.  He then fled through the parking lot to a silver minivan, which he arrived to the motel in.  The suspect is a black male, approximately 150 lbs., short hair, glasses and wearing black clothing.

TPD Detectives Search for Suspects Taking Elderly Victim's Wallet and Making Purchases

On April 5, 2019 at 5:30 pm. an elderly female was shopping at the Publix located at 1313 Dale Mabry Highway South in Tampa.  She was distracted by a black female and lost sight of her purse that was in the shopping cart.  An unknown black female took the victim's wallet from her purse and fraudulently used her stolen credit card at the Walmart located at 1515 Dale Mabry Highway N. for a purchase of approximately $1,100.

HCSO Detectives Work to ID Pharmacy Burglary Suspects

On April 12, 2019 at 1:21 a.m., two unknown suspects entered the New Dose Pharmacy located at 6802 Hillsborough Avenue West in Tampa after cutting a hole in the wall from an adjacent business.  The suspects took cash from the register.  One suspect was caught on surveillance video and is described as a black male, goatee, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and gloves.  The second suspect is described as a light skinned male with a bandanna covering his face.

HCSO Detectives Search for Suspect Caught on Video Inside Residence

On January 23, 2019 at 9:49 a.m., an unknown suspect entered the residence of 7511 Rustic Drive, Tampa after shattering a front window and prying it open.  Once inside, the suspect ransacked the residence then stole a 1990 class ring, Prada watch, DKNY watch, Bulova watch and makeup valued at approximately $2,200.  While inside the residence, the suspect was captured on surveillance video.  Suspect is described as a white male, 30's-40's, 5'10", 165-180lbs. and short black hair.

HCSO Detectives Search for Suspect Who Used Stolen Bins to Steal Cigarettes

On March 27, 2019 at 2:15 a.m., a black male entered the Walmart located at 4928 State Road 674 in Wimauma.  The suspect selected 2 plastic bins, proceeded to the front of the store where he selected hundreds of cartons of cigarettes from behind the counter and placed them into the bins.  The suspect exited through the Garden Center with the stolen bins carrying the stolen cigarettes without paying for the merchandise valued at $2,092.88. 
 
The suspect was picked up by an unknown driver of an unknown make/model silver sedan.  The suspect is believed to be 20-30 yoa, last seen wearing a white t-shirt, gray hoodie and black gym shorts.  Surveillance photos

HCSO Detectives Ask for Information from the Public to Identify Hit and Run Fatality Suspect
March 29, 2019

STATUS: OPEN
On March 21, 2019 at 9:45 p.m., the driver of a 2019 Nissan Rogue struck a Toyota Sienna Minivan at the intersection of Fletcher Avenue East and 19th Street North in Tampa.  The van was being utilized as a taxi and was transporting a wheelchair bound 91 year old male as a passenger.  According to witnesses, the driver of the Nissan Rogue was seen fleeing the scene by running southbound on 19th Street North.  Both the driver and passenger of the minivan were transported to a local hospital.  The elderly passenger died a short time later as a result of the injuries he sustained.  
 
The suspect is described as a black male, 20-28 yoa, 5'04"-5'06", dark skin, short hair, possibly small goatee and last seen wearing a long sleeve denim shirt or jean jacket.

PCPD Detectives Work to Identify Suspects Using Fake Money for Purchases

STATUS: OPEN
On March 16, 2019 two black females and one white male entered the Walgreens located at 2102 Baker Street West in Plant City.  Each subject passed multiple counterfeit bills while making a purchase.  They also used the fake currency to load cash value onto a pre-paid VISA card.  
 
A day earlier on March 15, 2019, a black female, black male and white male entered the CVS located at 403 Alexander Street North in Plant City.  The subjects loaded a pre-paid VISA and paid for the card with counterfeit bills.  The subjects utilized a silver SUV or van.
 
Detectives believe the same persons are responsible for passing fake currency at both locations.
