First responders located a shooting victim who was deceased at the scene. The victim has been identified as Martin Haley Jr, 23 years of age. UPDATE On July 21, 2020, at approximately 6:15 PM, the Homicide Unit, with the assistance of District Three officers, arrested Mr. Alpine Briggs, 22 years of age, for the murder of Mr. Haley. The victim was transported to University Hospital via the Cincinnati Fire Department where she succumbed to her injuries. The victim has been identified as Sharde Tarpley, 25 years of age. Case Information: On April 9, 2020, at approximately 1:43 AM, District Five officers responded with the Cincinnati Fire Department to a report of a vehicle crash in the 4500 block of Colerain Avenue. The driver of the vehicle was found to be suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to University Hospital where she died from her injuries. The victim has been identified as Megan Donahue, 34 years of age. On April 16, 2020, the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit signed a warrant for Murder on Travis Bailey. Mr. Bailey is a 25 year old white male. He is 5’11, 180 lbs, with blue eyes and blond hair. Mr. Bailey’s last known address was in Commiskey, Indiana. Upon arrival, officers located Mr. Sanchez Lee, 20 years of age, suffering from a gunshot wound. Mr. Lee was transported to University Hospital by Cincinnati Fire Department personnel where he succumbed to his injuries. Case Information: On April 5, 2020, at approximately 8:10 PM, District Two officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 1800 block of Duck Creek Road. Additional 911 calls indicated a vehicle had crashed at the 5.3 mile marker of northbound I-71 after traveling the wrong way down the Dana Avenue exit ramp. Responding officers located two shooting victims inside the crashed vehicle. The Cincinnati Fire Department transported both victims to University Hospital. One victim died from her injuries after arrival and has been identified as Micaela Stevenson, 34 years of age. No further information will be released on the surviving victim. Case Information: On Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at approximately 2240 hours, the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit responded to 4406 Colerain Avenue to investigate a fatal injury traffic crash. Mr. Marquis Colbert, M/39, a pedestrian was crossing the street, West on Colerain Avenue. The driver of an unknown vehicle was travelling North on Colerain Avenue. Mr. Colbert crossed the street in front of the unknown vehicle and was struck. The striking vehicle fled the scene. The striking vehicle is described as a black or dark colored sedan, possibly a Ford, with tinted windows missing its driver side mirror. The vehicle may have front end damage from the collision. Mr. Colbert was struck a second time while lying in the street by a silver 2007 Nissan Altima being operated by a F/15. Mr. Colbert was transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center by Cincinnati Fire Personnel, while being treated succumbed to his injuries. Mr. Colbert was not in a marked crosswalk at the time of the crash. Excessive speed and impairment are unknown at this time. Case Information: On November 19, 2019, at 7:29 am, Cincinnati Fire Department and District Three officers responded to the 3200 block of Gobel Avenue to investigate a working fire. First responders transported one victim who was injured during the fire to University Hospital. The victim has been identified as Tony Eason, 64 years of age. On November 25, 2019, Mr. Eason, succumbed to his injuries suffered during the fire. The death is being investigated as a homicide. Case Information: March 29, 1019 SOUTH FAIRMOUNT, OH (FOX19) – A woman who was shot and killed in South Fairmount Saturday night has been identified. Darian Wood, 26, was shot in the 1700 block of Westwood Avenue at 9:23 p.m., Cincinnati police said. Wood was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where police said she was pronounced dead on arrival. The Cincinnati Police Department Homicide Unit is investigating. Case Information: A shooting early Sunday morning in the West End has left one person dead and one person injured. Police were called to the scene of a shooting in the 900 block of Findlay Street. One of the victims, 30-year-old Donte Ford, was located by officers and transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. A second shooting victim was dropped off at University Hospital by private vehicle. The second victim is expected to survive and their name has not been released. There was also a report of a third shooting victim, however police report that this was not related to this particular case. Case Information: Cincinnati Police officers said they found a man shot in a car in Westwood Wednesday night. Crews were called to 2520 Harrison Avenue around 7:30 p.m. where they found 32-year-old Caurry Walker. Walker was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
