Case Information: A man who was reported missing earlier this week has been found dead in South Fairmount, according to Cincinnati Police. Chase Daniel Singer, 36, was found dead at around 11 a.m. on Friday in the 1800 block of Forbus St. in South Fairmount. The death has been ruled a homicide by the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office. Singer was reported missing on Tuesday by his aunt, who reported that she has not seen or heard from him in three weeks. Singer suffered from a brain injury that he sustained as a child. A neighbor told police Singer left behind his therapeutic dog, Lu-Lu, who he never leaves, without food or water. Police said when Singer went missing that he was in good physical condition but poor mental condition. The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is ongoing. The incident took place around 11 p.m. when officers responded to a report of a shooting on Erlene Drive. Case Information: On June 6, 2007, at 2:25 a.m., Cincinnati Police received a 911 call to 4259 Fergus St. reference a person shot lying in the street. District Five Officers along with Cincinnati Fire Personnel responded and located a black male suffering from gun shot wounds. The victim has been identified as John Harris, male, black, 25 years old born on July 19, 1982. Preliminary investigation reveals that Mr. Harris was a victim of a robbery where his vehicle (Black Chev, Monte Carlo) was stolen. The vehicle has been recovered by District Five Police on Spring Grove Ave parked and unattended.
