The men obtained the keys to a 2021 Lincoln Navigator and drove the new car off the lot. The suspects are both Hispanic males, in their mid-20's to early '30s, and have an average build. One of the men was wearing a white tee-shirt, gray pants, and black athletic shoes.
The other man was wearing a black tee-shirt, black pants, athletic socks, and sandals. The stolen vehicle has a value of $73,000.

On the early morning of Sunday, May 23rd, 2021, at 2:34 A.M., 24-year-old Sergio Alberto Banda was walking on one of the southbound lanes of US 54 on the third lane of traffic. A car traveling on that lane struck Banda and fled the scene. Investigators found evidence indicating the vehicle involved is a 2011 to 2019 Grey Nissan Versa. The hit and run vehicle should have a damaged front left side to include a missing driver's side mirror due to the crash.

On the early morning of Sunday, April 18th, 2021, around midnight, two men drove to the 6900 block of Black Mesquite. The men went to one of the newly constructed homes and found an unlocked door. Once inside of the home, the men removed seven doors and a bathroom cabinet. The men also stole a ladder and 10 gallons of paint. The suspect vehicles were captured by nearby cameras and are a dark 2002 Cadillac Escalade and an older 2000’s model Chevrolet Suburban. Investigators believe these suspects could be involved in other similar burglaries.

On the night of Sunday, September 22nd, 2019, at 11:10 P.M., two teens and a twenty-year-old were driving in a white Audi car northbound on George Dieter. The three came to a stop at the intersection of Pebble Hills due to a traffic signal. A man driving a truck on the turning lane began to exchange words with the teen. The man pulled out a handgun, and the teen driver entered the intersection to flee from the man. As the three drove away, the suspect fired the gun multiple times at the car. As a result, a 15-year old female, who was sitting in the back seat, was critically injured.
The shooter was described as a Hispanic male, of average height, with short hair and a full beard. He was wearing a gray baseball cap and a yellow tee-shirt. The suspect’s vehicle was a newer model truck or S.U.V. that appears to be “lifted." The suspect fled westbound on Pebble Hills.

On the early morning of Thursday, April 15, 2021, two men broke into the Forti’s Mexican Elder located at 321 Chelsea. The men made their way to two cash registers damaging both machines and taking the cash drawer portion of the register. The suspects fled the scene with both cash drawers which, contained a small undisclosed amount of money.
Surveillance cameras recorded the men. One of the men has a medium to heavy build, tattoos on both arms and neck area. On the day of the burglary, he was wearing a Spiderman mask, a tee-shirt, and denim pants. The second man has a medium build and a tattoo on his left leg. This man was wearing a ski mask, a hooded jacket with lines on the sleeves, and high-top athletic shoes.

On the evening of Saturday, April 17, 2021, a man walked into the El Paso Skeet and Trap Club located at 9817 Alameda. The man walked in as the business was closing for the day.
The man threatened an employee with a knife and demanded a shotgun. The suspect fled the scene on foot with a Beretta shotgun valued at approximately $4,000 dollars. According to witnesses, the man ran eastbound on Alameda.
The suspect is a Hispanic male, 30 to 40 years old, 5’11” tall, 200lbs., and has tattoos on both arms. According to witnesses, he has a heavy Spanish accent. He was wearing a dark hat, black glasses, a black and white face mask, gray and orange gloves, a white tee-shirt, and gray shorts.

As he was crossing the northbound lanes, a vehicle struck him and fled from the scene. The man landed in an area with vegetation between the street and sidewalk. A work crew found the victim at 4:34 A.M.

On the evening of Saturday, November 14, 2020, at 7:35 P.M., an unidentified male suspect went to a home on the 3000-block of Copper. The man was armed with a handgun and shot 50-year old Georgette Kaufman multiple times. Moments later, the suspect shot at 48-year old Daniel Kaufman. Georgette Kaufman did not survive her injuries. Daniel Kaufman was injured and taken to the hospital. Disclosure of additional information is not possible due to the active investigation.
The suspect is a white male, between 5’10” to 6’0” in height, with a thin build. The man involved was possibly bald and was wearing dark clothing on the day of the murder.

On the night of Thursday, February 13, 2020, shortly after 10 P.M., a 21-year-old man was walking home from work on the 300 block of Thorn. The attacker surprised the victim from behind and began stabbing him. The victim managed to walk up to a nearby house to get help. The suspect ran from the scene through the parking lot of the Oran Roberts Elementary School. The victim did not know the attacker. Investigators believe that this attack was random. The only description is that suspect was a White or Hispanic male and was wearing a black hooded jacket.

On the early morning of Friday, January 1, 2021, at 4:30 A.M., a 21-year-old woman was driving home northbound on McCombs when she stopped at a traffic light at the intersection of Wren.
The victim noticed a man standing by a traffic light as if he was going to cross McCombs. The man walked up to the victim’s car, pulled out a handgun, and fired multiple times into the vehicle. The victim immediately fled and drove herself to a hospital.
The attacker is described as a Hispanic male, 5’8" with a heavy build, and is in his 20’s. The suspect was wearing a yellow button-up shirt with a design on it, blue jeans, and a black facemask the day of the attack.

On the early morning of Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at 1:19 A.M., a man entered the gymnasium to the school, Lydia Patterson, at 517 South Florence. The suspect in this burglary stole several items including, a 52” television, clothing, a leaf blower, and other property. The suspect is Hispanic, has an average build, has short dark hair, a mustache, and a beard or goatee. He was wearing a jacket, a hooded sweatshirt under the jacket, denim jeans, and athletic shoes.

The suspects appear to have a thin build, and both are wearing hooded sweatshirts. The suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored, 4-door Nissan Murano. Investigators believe the suspects fled towards east El Paso County.

Hit and Run Driver Kills Elderly Woman

On the afternoon of Sunday, March 7, 2021, 92-year old Petra Zamorano was attempting to cross the 8300-block of Alameda from the south curb to the north curb. As the woman was crossing, a car traveling west on Alameda struck her. The driver of the vehicle did not stop and fled the scene westbound on Troy towards Yarbrough. A second car also struck Zamorano, but that driver stopped and remained at the scene. Petra Zamorano died at the scene. According to witnesses, the vehicle involved is a gray or silver Chrysler PT Cruiser or a similar car.

Man Is Killed After Road Rage Incident In East El Paso

On the afternoon of Thursday, February 18, 2021, the victim, 39-year old Jose Guzman, was traveling with his wife and daughter in a 2013 Ford Focus on Joe Battle. There was some type of road rage incident between the victim and the unknown suspect.
The victim exited Joe Battle and pulled into a parking lot at 1201 Bob Hope. The suspect also exited and pulled into the parking lot. The victim began to walk toward the suspect vehicle.
According to witnesses, the driver accelerated towards the victim, struck him, and fled. Days later, Jose Guzman died from his injuries at the hospital. The suspect vehicle is a 4-door red or burgundy car. The vehicle involved will have damage to the front right side.

Mission Valley Store Robbed At Knife Point
EL PASO, TEXAS – Two men rob a store in El Paso’s Mission Valley with a knife.

On the night of Thursday, February 11, 2021, two men entered the Dollar General Store located at 7021 Alameda. Store employees confronted the men as they attempted to steal a bottle of Barefoot brand wine. During the confrontation, one of the men pushed one of the employees, and the other took out a knife. The suspects fled the scene with a bottle of wine in a gray car.
According to witnesses, the suspect’s car is a Nissan Altima. The first suspect had the knife. He is Hispanic, with a dark complexion, has dark eyes, and weighs approximately 200 lbs. The second suspect is also Hispanic, possibly in his middle teens, with a light skin complexion, dark-colored eyes, curly hair, and a thin build.

Several Bank A.T.M. Machines Burglarized
EL PASO, TEXAS – Several A.T.M.s at local banks throughout the city have been burglarized. Crime Stoppers of El Paso and the El Paso Police Department asks for help in identifying these A.T.M. burglars through this week’s Crime of The Week.
The most recent burglary took place on Monday, January 18, 2021, at the G.E.C.U., located at 7410 Helen of Troy, in West El Paso. In all the cases, the suspects used a crowbar and a truck to force open the machine. Once they were able to open the A.T.M., the suspects fled with the money. The first of these burglaries took place on Sunday, July 18, 2020, at a USAA A.T.M. on 10090 Rushing. In total, there have been six burglaries and believed to have been committed by the same suspects. All of these burglaries took place between the late-night hours and early morning hours.

A Housing Renovation Site Is Burglarized
EL PASO, TEXAS – Almost $35,000 worth of building materials and tools were stolen from a Central El Paso Housing complex. Crime Stoppers of El Paso and the El Paso Police Department are asking for your help in finding these burglars through this week’s Crime of The Week.
Three burglaries have taken place at the Kathy White Housing complex located at 2500 Mobile and 2500 Hamilton. The first burglary took place between 5 P.M, on June 9 to 6 A.M. on June 10, 2020. The next took place in the late afternoon of December 3, 2020, and the early morning hours of December 4.
The most recently reported burglary occurred between December 4 and December 6 during the overnight hours. In all three cases the burglars broke into various storage units and containers used to store tools and building materials for a renovation project at the housing complex. In total, the value of the tools and materials stolen is $34,884. Among the materials stolen were double pane windows, stair treads, electrical outlets, and vinyl tile.

Two Teens Are Held Up At Gun Point In Central El Paso

On the night of Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at 11:56 P.M., two teens parked at the 1500 block of Virginia next to El Paso High School. The teens were attempting to see ghost sightings when a man knocked on the window of their car. The pair lowered their window, and the man then threatened the teen couple with a handgun.
The man forced them out of the car and ransacked the vehicle. The suspect stole an Apple I-Phone and loose change. He fled the scene on foot westbound on Crosby. The suspect is a Hispanic male, 18 to 20 years of age, short hair, and had bushy eyebrows. He was wearing a white tee-shirt and black shorts.

Man Steals Trailer From East El Paso Business
EL PASO, TEXAS – A man steals a trailer from an East El Paso business. Security video recorded the suspect, and Detectives from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in identifying this thief through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.”
On the morning of Sunday, August 23, 2020, at 6:38 A.M., a man drove to the business complex at 11394 James Watt. The suspect backed up the S.U.V. he was driving to a trailer that was in front of the AB Mattress Outlet. The trailer was loaded with four box springs. The suspect managed to hook up the trailer to his vehicle and drove off. The suspect stopped in the parking lot of a neighboring complex at 11385 James Watt, to remove a lock from the trailer. The suspect then fled the scene with the trailer.
The vehicle used in the theft is a white, older model Ford Expedition with black rims. The suspect, in this case, is a Hispanic male, thin build, was wearing a white towel over his head, a blue long sleeve tee-shirt, blue denim shorts, white socks, and black athletics shoes with white soles.
