Man Randomly Hits Woman On The Face
EL PASO, TEXAS – A man randomly hits a woman and breaks her nose as he and another man were leaving a central El Paso bar. Detectives from the El Paso Police Department are asking for your help in identifying the two men, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.”
On Monday, February 17, 2020, two men walked into Dewey’s Bar located at 812 N. Piedras. The men walked over to another man and began to assault him. After beating the man, the two men were walking out of the bar and one of them struck a 30-year old woman in the face and broke her nose.
Both men are Hispanic males in their middle 20’s or early 30’s, medium build, and approximately 5’7” in height. One of the men had tattoos on his face below the eyes and both arms. This man was wearing a white baseball cap, a red shirt, white denim jeans, and white athletic shoes. The other man also has tattoos on his arms. He was wearing a white Baseball cap, black shirt, white jeans, and black athletic shoes.

Hit And Run Driver Kills 12-Year Old Child
EL PASO, TEXAS – A 12-year old child was killed by a hit and run driver two years ago. Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in finding the driver involved in the death of this child, through the Crime Stoppers, Crime of The Week.
Between the late night of Sunday, February 4, and the early morning of Monday, February 5, 2018, 12-year old, Kianna Johnson, who suffered from Autism, walked out of her home. At approximately 1:30 a.m., the 12-year old child was in the area of the Walmart on the 5600 block of Dyer. Investigators believe that Kianna Johnson attempted to cross Dyer from the east curb to the west curb. A vehicle that was traveling northbound on Dyer struck her as she crossed and fled the scene. Kianna Johnson died at the scene from her injuries. A vehicle captured on surveillance video could be the vehicle involved. The vehicle appears to be a dark-colored cargo van.

Man Holds Construction Crew At Gunpoint While Robbing Store
EL PASO, TEXAS – A man forces his way into a store and holds a construction crew at gunpoint while he steals money from the business. Investigators from the El Paso Police Department need help to identify the armed robber, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of the Week.”
On the early morning of Monday, March 9, 2020, at 12:10 A.M., a man forced his way into the Valero Store located at 6200 Edgemere. The store was closed, but a construction crew was working on the inside of the store. The suspect threatened the crew with a handgun and ordered them to the ground. The suspect then managed to remove two cash registers and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
The man is white or Hispanic, approximately 5’10” in height. He was wearing a black ski mask, a black Nike Baseball Cap, a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black athletic shoes, and white gloves.

Gunman Forces Clerk To Reopen Store To Rob It
EL PASO, TEXAS – A gunman confronts a store clerk and forces him to reopen the store to rob it. Investigators from the El Paso Police Department need help to identify the armed suspect, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of the Week.”
On the early morning of Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at 12:33 A.M., a man confronted a store clerk outside of the Best Food Mart at 6200 Dyer.
The clerk had just closed the business for the day and was by his vehicle. During that time the suspect, who was armed with a handgun, surprised the clerk and forced him to reopen the store. The suspect demanded money from the business. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, lottery tickets, and multiple packs of Marlboro and Montego brand cigarettes. The suspect is a Hispanic male in his 20’s, with an approximate height of six feet. The suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweater, a blue baseball cap, blue denim jeans, black athletic shoes, and blue medical-style gloves.

Two Men Rob Convenience Store At Gun Point
EL PASO, TEXAS – Two men hold up a convenience store at gunpoint in East-Central El Paso. Investigators from the El Paso Police Department need your help to identify these armed robbers, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of the Week.”
On the early morning of Tuesday, February 25, 2020, two men walked into the Seven-Eleven Store located at 6360 Airport Rd. The men approached the store employee, and one of the men pulled out a handgun. The men demanded money from the business and forced the employee to open the cash register. The men fled the scene with a small undisclosed amount of money, several boxes of Marlboro Cigarettes, Swisher Sweets Cigars, a flashlight, and several Resse’s Candy Bars. The men fled towards the back of the business and went through the attached car wash. Investigators located a video of the suspected vehicle that was fleeing the scene. The vehicle appears to be a hatchback or S.U.V.
The suspects are described as Hispanic men, 20 to 30 years of age, with an average build. The first suspect was wearing a brown hat covering his face, a brown jacket, and dark-colored jeans. The second suspect was wearing a black jacket with a hood, dark-colored jeans, and a white bandana covering his face.

Tips Sought In 2003 Christmas Eve Murder
EL PASO, TEXAS – The case of a man murdered on Christmas Eve sixteen years ago remains open. Detectives from the El Paso Police Department are asking for the public’s help in finding those responsible for this homicide, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.”
On the early afternoon of Wednesday, December 24, 2003, at approximately two in the afternoon, 44-year old Fernando Martinez was found dead inside of his Northeast El Paso business at 4496 Titanic. Martinez was the owner and operator of Saygo Bakery Equipment Service. Homicide investigators found that Martinez was visited by a person or persons at the business around 12-noon. One of those visitors fatally shot Martinez in the upper torso. Martinez, who was originally from Artesia New Mexico left behind a child that was only 4-year of age at the time of the murder.

Murder Case of Man Shot Outside Of Bar Remains Open
EL PASO, TEXAS – The murder case of man who was shot outside of an east El Paso bar remains open. Detectives from the El Paso Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying those responsible for this murder through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of the Week.”
On the early morning of Friday, September 27th, at 02:21 a.m., 34-year old Carlos Vargas was walking with another person in a parking lot at 1610 N. Zaragoza. The two had just walked out of the “City Slickers” Bar when a vehicle nearly struck them both. Vargas and the other person confronted the driver of the vehicle. The driver of the car pulled out a handgun and shot Vargas during the confrontation. Emergency personnel took Vargas to the hospital, where he later died. The shooter in the case was driving a dark-colored, four-door car, similar to an Infinity.

Man Burglarizes Mission Valley Restaurant
EL PASO, TEXAS – A Mission Valley Restaurant was burglarized by a man who was recorded by security cameras. Investigators from the El Paso Police Department, ask for the public’s help to identify this burglar, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of the Week.”
On the morning of Wednesday, 4th, 2019, at 8:30 A.M., the man walked into the “Applebee’s” restaurant, at 7956 Gateway East. The man walked into the business through an unlocked door in the take out entrance. Once inside, the man went to the bar area and stole three bottles of liquor. The suspect then went to the counter near the takeout area. There the man stole a Samsung Tablet and walked out of the business. The suspect is a Hispanic male, with a thin build, in his late teens, or early 20’s. He was wearing a Dallas Cowboys baseball hat, a blue long-sleeved button-up shirt, and blue denim jeans.

Group of Teens Rob Convenience Store
EL PASO, TEXAS – A group of five teens robbed a Mission Valley Convenience Store and injured the store clerks. Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying these robbers, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of the Week.”
On the night of Thursday, November 21st, 2019, at 8 P.M., a group of teens walked into the Circle K store located 8130 Alameda. The group walked towards the coolers where alcoholic beverages are stored. One of the teens walked out and stood in front of the store. Another grabbed a 24oz. can of “Twisted Tea” and a bag of chips and ran towards the front doors of the store. The rest of the group began to exit and one of them sprayed both employees with pepper spray. The group of two females and three males fled the scene with the stolen can of malt liquor and chips.

Help Sought Solving Murder Case
EL PASO, TEXAS – A 20-year old man was shot and killed in a northeast El Paso neighborhood in January. Detectives from the El Paso Police Department are asking for the public's help in finding those involved in this murder, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of the Week.”
On the night of Saturday, January 26th, 2019, at 11:42 P.M ., 20-year old Terrance Lamont Kinard Jr., also known as “T.K.” or “T. Kizer” was at a house party at the 8800 block of Mt. Whitney. At some point, Kinard was outside a few houses away from the actual house party, when witnesses heard multiple gunshots. Kinard was fatally shot and died at the scene from his injuries. Detectives know that someone has information as to the people involved in this murder.

Downtown Bar Burglarized
EL PASO, TEXAS – Three men burglarize a Downtown El Paso bar. Security Cameras recorded three suspects, and Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for the pubic’s help to identify these burglars through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of the Week.” On the early morning of Wednesday, October 9th, at 4:30 A.M., the three suspects made their way into a storage area of the “International Bar” at 114 East Mills, through a door that had possibly been left unlocked. The three men took aproximatlely 24 bottles of various liquor and several cases of different beers and soda. In total the suspects stole at least $1,525.00 dollars worth of product. Investigators are certain that someone will recognize the images of the trio responsible for this burglary. Eastside Hardware Store Burglarized
EL PASO, TEXAS – Two men burglarize an east El Paso hardware store. Security Cameras recorded one of the suspects, and Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for the pubic’s help to identify these burglars through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of the Week.” On the early morning of Wednesday, October 9th, at 3:43 A.M., a man cut through the fence to the garden area of the Ace Hardware Store located at 2200 N. Yarbrough. The suspect took bags of plant soil, a bird feeder, and two large plant pots. The suspects leave the scene and return minutes later. The suspect recorded on video returned and broke the glass door to the business. The man made his way inside and stole four chain saws. The suspect was in a light-colored S.U.V. believed to be a Buick Encore. The suspect was wearing a black baseball cap, black long-sleeved shirt, blue denim jeans, and black athletic shoes. Couple Uses Stolen Credit Cards At Adult Store
EL PASO, TEXAS – A couple uses stolen credit cards at an adult store in El Paso’s Mission Valley. Security cameras recorded the couple, and Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for the public’s help to identify the pair through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of the Week.” On the morning of Wednesday, October 16, at 7:44 A.M., a woman was at a daycare at 3660 Joe Battle and noticed that her backpack was missing from her S.U.V. The bag contained a laptop and credit cards. Hours later, a couple had used the credit cards at a McDonalds on 1515 Airway and an adult video store at 6940 Gateway East. The couple was driving a blue newer model (2017 to present) Nissan Rouge. The male suspect is Hispanic, in his middle 30’s, average build, shaved head, and a mustache and goatee. The suspect was wearing a gray t-shirt with a U.S. Marine Corps. Logo on the front. The female suspect also appears to be Hispanic, in her middle 30’s, with a light complexion and average build.
