The Lincoln Police Department has officially notified CrimeStoppers of a suspect being identified and charged with Robbery 1st Degree regarding the June 1st Armed Robbery of the Mapco Express Store.
An anonymous tip, received through CrimeStoppers, identified the offender as 26-year-old Tanarence Bernard Murphy of Birmingham, Alabama. Murphy was taken into custody in Birmingham, AL on August 3, 2021 by the Lincoln Police Department with the assistance of the Birmingham Police Department. Mr. Murphy was transported to the Talladega County Jail on August 3, 2021, and officially charged for the offense of Robbery 1st Degree and assigned a $20,000.00 bond.
Lincoln Investigators say on June 1st an unknown female held the front door of the store open while Tanarence Murphy pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded money. The unknown female was identified and is no longer wanted as a suspect in this investigation.

On June 1, 2021, at approximately 4:00 am, the Mapco Express Store located in the 5900 block of Speedway Blvd. in Eastaboga was robbed at gunpoint.
Investigators say an unknown female held the front door of the store open while another unknown male pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded money. Both subjects left the store on foot and got into the back of what is believed to be a newer model Nissan Altima, black in color. Last seen travelling towards interstate I-20.

The Sylacauga Police Department is asking for the public’s help to solve a Murder!
On June 23, 2021, at around 10:00pm, the Sylacauga Police Department responded to a call about someone being shot at 794 Harper Springs Road in Sylacauga, Alabama. On arrival, officers found Bradford Franklin Isbell, a 46-year-old, white male, from Sylacauga, dead outside of the residence. Officers also found Rachel Elizabeth Hayes, 32-year-old, white female, also from Sylacauga, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Sylacauga Ambulance responded to the scene and immediately transported Ms. Hayes to the helipad location at the Sylacauga Airport where she was flown, by Life Saver Helicopter, to UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Ms. Hayes survived her gunshot wounds.
Sylacauga Police Department Investigators and agents from the Talladega County Drug and Violent Crime Taskforce are working this case. We ask that if anyone has information about this homicide to please give us a call and help take a killer off of our streets. Investigators do not believe that this was a random shooting.

The Talladega County Sheriff’s Office has officially notified CrimeStoppers of a second suspect identified and charged with Murder regarding the June 29th Homicide Investigation of William Gerry Taylor.
Talladega County investigators advise that a warrant has been obtained for the arrest of Christopher Zavon Jamerson, 16, of Alpine, AL. Jamerson was arrested and charged with Capital Murder on July 29, 2021 and is being held with no bond at the Talladega County Jail.
This is still an active homicide investigation and no further information will be released at this time. There are no more arrests expected at this time.

The Talladega County Sheriff’s Office has officially notified CrimeStoppers of a suspect identified and charged with Murder regarding the June 29th Homicide Investigation of William Gerry Taylor.
Talladega County investigators advise that a person of interest was identified. Investigators obtained a warrant for the arrest of Lakenderick Jamal Jones, 17, of Childersburg, AL. Jones was arrested and charged with Capital Murder on July 20, 2021 and is being held with no bond. Investigators further advise that the community played a significant part in providing information that led to the arrest.
This is still an active homicide investigation and no further information will be released at this time. More arrests are expected as the investigation continues. On June 29, 2021 at approximately 2:00 P.M., deputies with the Talladega County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 4-Way Grocery in the 7000 block of Plant Road in Alpine, Alabama. William Gerry Taylor, 73, of Alpine, was found unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. Medical intervention was unsuccessful, and Mr. Taylor was pronounced deceased at the scene. The body will be taken to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences in Montgomery for an autopsy.
This is an active homicide investigation and no further information will be released at this time.

On 07/27/2021 the Selma Police Department identified Officer Marquis Moorer as a victim of an on duty shooting incident. According to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson, Officer Marquis Moorer, who was on duty, stopped by his apartment at Selma Square Apartments for his lunch break. A suspect approached Moorer and opened fire, also wounding a woman who was Moore’s “significant other,” Jackson said. The woman was hospitalized but the severity of her injuries wasn’t immediately available. The shooting happened between 3:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. No suspects are in custody.
Central Alabama Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,500 reward for any information in Moorer’s slaying.

On 5/27/2021 Childersburg Police responded to a shooting inside the Bella Luna Event Center in Childersburg, Alabama. The shooting occurred at a high school graduation party. William Bernard Kendrick Jr., 22 years of age of Sylacauga, was found unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. Kendrick died at the scene. Another 19-year-old attendee from Sylacauga, Alabama was also found at the scene, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was treated at the scene for his injuries and transported for medical care.
At the time of the shooting there were between 75-100 people in the building at the party. We, Childersburg Investigators, believe someone at the party saw the shooting, saw the shooter, and has information which may lead us to the shooter.

On May 20, 2021, Sylacauga Police responded to a 911 call to the Buttermilk Hill Community, on N. Nashville Avenue between E. 3rd Street and E. 4th Street. On arrival Officers located a black male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. CPR was started by good-Samaritans and Officers on the scene. He was transported to the Coosa Valley Medical Center and after undergoing surgery transferred to the UAB Hospital in Birmingham via Life Saver. He succumbed to his injuries after arriving at UAB.
The shooting victim was identified as Shaquan Devon Jackson, 29-year-old of Arnold Circle, Sylacauga, Alabama. Sylacauga Police Investigations are working diligently to generate a suspect and uncover the motive behind the shooting. Investigators are asking for anyone with information to please come forward. We believe that someone in that area saw what happened and knows why. The area where the shooting occurred is a busy area at that time of day.

On June 27, 2021 Sylacauga Police were dispatched to 413 N. Nashville Avenue, in the Buttermilk Hill community, at 6:00 PM in reference to a person being shot. Officers arrived on the scene to find Gary Earl Stone, Jr. (aka. Junior Stone) suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers arriving on the scene from the Sylacauga Police Department and the Talladega County Sheriff’s Office began life saving measures, CPR, to no avail, until Sylacauga Ambulance arrived on the scene. Gary “Junior” Stone, 30 years of age, was pronounced dead by Coroner Shaddix Murphy on the scene.
Gary (Junior) Stone is from Sylacauga but lived in Montgomery, Alabama. Investigators from Sylacauga Police Department along with agents from the Talladega County Drug & Violent Crime Task Force are actively working this case.

The Brundidge Police Department, assisted by the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, Troy Police Department, and Clio Police Department continue their homicide investigation of Pedro Espindola Ibanez. Ibanez death was the result of a shooting which took place on January 10, 2021 just after the 2:00 am hour.
Police were notified of a shooting that occurred at a residence in the 5100 block of 231 South (Brundidge, AL). Upon arrival to the residence, Officers discovered the body of 1 deceased male subject who had been shot and killed inside the residence. Officers also confirmed that a female subject suffering a gunshot wound had been transported via ambulance to Troy Regional Hospital. The female was later discharged after medical treatment.
The deceased was identified as 25-year-old Pedro Espindola Ibanez of Clio, AL. No arrests have been made at this time; however, this is an ongoing investigation. Investigators are still requesting information from the public.

The United States Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force has officially notified CrimeStoppers of the arrest of Fugitive Roger Dale Whisman. He is no longer wanted by Law Enforcement.
Members of the Fugitive Task Force took Roger Whisman into custody on June 30, 2021 at approximately 12:00 pm. An anonymous tip from CrimeStoppers led authorities to the location of Whisman in Montgomery, AL. He was taken into custody by Task Force Members at a gas station located at Poplar Street and Ann Street. He was then transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility and a hold was placed for the Poarch Creek Indian Tribal Police Department.
The Poarch Creek Indian Tribal Police Department requested the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF) in locating and apprehending Roger Dale Whisman (DOB: 02-3-1979). Whisman was wanted by the Poarch Creek Indian Tribal Police Department for the charge of Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Building.

On October 20, 2020, at approximately 8:30 pm Quandarius Richardson of Lincoln, Alabama was shot while driving his 2003 Silver Honda Accord on Second Avenue in Lincoln, Alabama. Richardson sustained several gunshot wounds that has resulted in several surgeries and the amputation of both of his legs.
Richardson was reportedly driving home after leaving work and turned onto Second Avenue when multiple shots rang out, hitting his vehicle and striking him multiple times. Investigators are hoping that someone will call in that remembers something about this senseless shooting that caused a young 26-year-old to lose both of his legs.

On 06/15/2021 around 4:00 am, a burglary occurred at the Sunoco on North Memorial Drive in Prattville, Alabama. The suspect, using the same method in other burglaries, used a car jack to break a window to gain entry. Once inside the business, the suspect stole 60 packets of Newport Cigarettes and a bottle of Hennessy.

Upon arrival, Officers found a silver vehicle, parked on the curve, and a deceased male sitting on the driver’s side of the vehicle. The driver was identified as 24-year old Airreyon Trice. Trice had been shot to death.
During the course of their investigation, Police determined that Airreyon Trice and another male were involved in an altercation before the shooting. The unknown male who was involved in the incident was not on scene when police arrived.
Airreyon Trice was a Correctional Officer Supervisor with the State of Georgia Department of Corrections. Mother Eddie Williams stated “Airreyon was my joy. Everybody that knows me or him knows that he was my joy. He was not only my son; he was my best friend and I miss him so much. He was 24 years old; he had just moved out starting his life. We just want to know what happened.”

The Autauga County Sheriff’s Office would like to ask for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in multiple Burglaries throughout the county of Autauga, Alabama.
Burglary 3rd Degree and Theft of Property 3rd Degree of the CITGO Station located at 1610 Hwy 31 N, Prattville, AL 36067.
On 06/16/2021 at approximately 2:55 am, an unknown suspect dressed in dark clothing with a hoodie and surgical mask covering his face, threw a car jack through the front window of the business. The suspect then entered and stole several hundred dollars’ worth of tobacco products. Upon leaving the business the suspect fled northbound towards County Road 85.
Burglary 3rd Degree and Theft of Property 3rd Degree of the TEXACO Station / STAR Package Store located on US Hwy 31 N, Prattville, AL.
On 06/18/2021 at approximately 3:08 am, an unknown suspect dressed in dark clothing with a hoodie and surgical mask covering his face, and wearing gloves threw a car jack through the front entry door of the business. The suspect then entered and stole several hundred dollars’ worth of tobacco products. Upon leaving the business the suspect fled South down US Hwy 31 N.
Detectives were able to retrieve photos and video of the suspect from surveillance cameras captured from two stores. Suspect may be wanted in several other burglaries throughout the river region.

The Montgomery Police Department is investigating the Robbery of a Person that occurred in the parking lot of a hotel/motel business.
On Monday, May 31, 2021, Montgomery Patrol Units responded to a business located in the 3400 block of Mobile Highway in reference to a robbery. Contact was made with the victim who was assaulted and had his iPhone 12 taken away from him. The suspect left in a black 2008 Cadillac Deville.
Investigators released surveillance video from the motel lobby of where the robbery occurred. Video shows the suspect being asked to leave the business before the robbery occurred. Once the suspect leaves he encounters the victim right outside the door of the lobby. The suspect assaults the victim and takes his cell phone while assaulting him.

On Monday, May 3, 2021, at 11:50 p.m., Montgomery Police Patrol units responded to the 400 Block of East Park Avenue regarding a person suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was identified as Randolph Robinson and was pronounced deceased on the scene. The Montgomery Police Department seeks assistance from the public to identify a person firing an unknown weapon from a silver four-door sedan with dark blue LED lights. The vehicle was last seen turning right on Chelsea Drive from East Park Avenue.
