The Montgomery Fire Department is searching for the identity and location of the suspect(s) wanted for their involvement in an Arson Investigation.
On Friday, August 9, 2019, at approximately 12:58 a.m., The Montgomery Fire Department Suppression units responded to the 100 Block of Hambleton Road at Saddleback Ridge Apartments in reference to a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, units found the vehicle fully covered with flames. Surveillance footage captured two suspects approaching the vehicle, pouring a liquid on top of the vehicle, and lighting the convertible top on fire outside of the vehicle. Video surveillance is not being released at this time. If anyone has information that could lead to an arrest, please contact Fire Investigator Lieutenant D. L. Smith at (334-782-6338). This incident is still under investigation by the City of Montgomery Fire Department.

On Thursday, July 25, 2019, Montgomery Police Patrol units responded to the 4700 Block of Park Towne Way in reference to a subject suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was identified as black male Laquintin Brown, who was pronounced deceased on the scene. The Montgomery Police Department is seeking assistance from the public into the Murder of Laquintin Brown. A reward up to $11,000.00 has been offered to assist with solving this crime. The Montgomery Police Department has offered a $10,000.00 reward for the arrest and conviction of anyone involved. On July 31, 2019, an unknown male and female entered Michael’s retail store located in Prattville and concealed over $1,000.00 worth of t-shirts in clothing before exiting the business without paying for the merchandise.
The suspects were last seen leaving in a black GMC Yukon (unknown tag) and exiting in the direction of Cobbs Ford Road. Multiple cameras inside of the business captured the suspects concealing the merchandise underneath their clothing before exiting the business.

The suspect was described as being a black male, 5’7 in height, medium build, and was wearing a black hoodie and black pants. Last seen leaving the area in a red Chevrolet four door sedan.
