018/20 News Release - Failure to Render Aid Suspect Wanted
March 19, 2020

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the driver of a vehicle that fled the scene of a motor vehicle collision which occurred in the Nuuanu area.
On Friday, February 14, 2020, at approximately 3:15 p.m., a 64 year old male pedestrian was in the crosswalk at the intersection of S. Vineyard Boulevard and Nuuanu Avenue when he was struck by a maroon Honda Truck. The driver of the vehicle did not stop and fled the scene. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries. Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as being a maroon Honda Ridgeline truck bearing Hawaii license plates LBD-359.

015/20 News Release - Arson Suspect Wanted
February 28, 2020

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male who is wanted for Arson in the First Degree.

 

On Thursday, February 27, 2020, at approximately 8:15 p.m., an unknown male set the surfboard racks located behind the Waikiki Police Sub Station on fire. The fire caused damages to the surfboards, substation and nearby hotel.

014/20 News Release Attempted Sex Assault Suspect Watned
February 25, 2020

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating an unknown male who is wanted for Attempted Sexual Assault in the First Degree.

 

On Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at approximately 6:20 a.m., the victim was waiting at a bus stop fronting 715 South King Street when an unknown male approached her, brandished a weapon and forced her to follow him to a secluded area.  The male then attempted to sexually assault the victim but she was able to escape.  The male then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

011/20 News Release - Attempted Sex Assault Suspect Wanted
February 06, 2020

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the driver of a vehicle that fled the scene of a motor vehicle collision which occurred in the Pearl City area.

 

On Monday, January 13, 2020, at approximately 10:22 p.m., a 49 year old pedestrian was walking northbound on Puu Poni Street heading towards Hoomalu Street when he was struck by a passing vehicle.  The driver of the vehicle did not stop and fled the scene.  The pedestrian was transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. The possible suspect vehicle may be a silver pickup truck or sports utility vehicle with a missing passenger side mirror.

006/20 News Release- Murder Suspect Wanted
February 04, 2020

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male who is wanted for Murder in the First Degree.

On Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at approximately 8:50 p.m., an unknown suspect shot two male victims who were standing in the garage of their home on Kepauala Place in Waianae. The suspect fled the scene in a black Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. Both victims were transported to the hospital where pronouncement of their deaths were made.

004/20 News Release - Theft Suspect Wanted
January 14, 2020

CrimeStoppers and the Department of the Attorney General Investigations Office  are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) who stole over $100,000 in construction equipment from a construction site at the Daniel K. Inouye Airport.

 

On the night of Friday, December 20, 2019, at approximately 11:00 p.m., unknown suspects(s) entered the 40 acre enclosed perimeter of the Mauka Extension Project construction site located at the Daniel K. Inouye Airport.  They proceeded to steal over the weekend approximately 100K in hand tools and construction equipment.

On September 30, 2019, at approximately 2:36 p.m., a male entered the bank, informed the bank teller he had a gun in his bag, demanded cash, and fled in an unknown direction.

001/20 News Release - Failure To Render Aid Suspect Wanted
January 02, 2020

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the driver of a vehicle that fled the scene of a motor vehicle collision which occurred in the Waianae area.

On Thursday, December 26, 2019, at approximately1:30 p.m., a juvenile pedestrian was walking on the sidewalk area fronting 85-1325 Kaneaki Street, when he was struck by a passing vehicle. The driver of the vehicle stopped and picked up the broken passenger side mirror and fled the scene. The vehicle was last seen heading North on Kaneaki Street. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries. Witnesses described the vehicle as being a black Dodge van being driven by an unknown elderly female.

On Wednesday, December 25, 2019, at approximately 6:15 p.m., a pedestrian was on the roadway fronting 87-157 Helelua Street when he was struck by a passing vehicle.  The driver of the vehicle did not stop and was last seen heading North on Helelua Street.  The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.  Witnesses described the vehicle as being a black

four-door sedan.

079a/19 News Release - Attempted Murder Suspects Wanted
December 10, 2019

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two suspects wanted for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree which occurred in the Moanalua Gardens area.

 

On Thursday, December 5, 2019, at approximately 12:09 p.m., a Japanese tourist was walking through the parking lot of Moanalua Gardens when an unknown male suspect ran up from behind, snatched the victim’s purse off her shoulder, and ran to an awaiting pickup truck where he jumped into the front passenger’s seat.  The victim chased the suspect and as the truck sped away, its’ rear passenger tire drove over the lower half of the victim’s body and sped off without slowing.
