CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating witnesses in the death of Leroy Calleon.
On Sunday, August 4, 2019, at approximately 1:08 a.m, an affray occurred on the sidewalk fronting the Moose McGillicuddy’s Bar in Waikiki. The suspect was captured on surveillance cameras striking the decedent causing him to fall and hit his head on the roadway. Shortly after, the suspect was identified and arrested by officers for Assault in the Second Degree. On Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 6:20 p.m., the decedent succumbed to his injuries and pronouncement of his death was made. The case has now been reclassified to a Mansalughter.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating witnesses in the murder of Marcus Imbo.
On Saturday, August 17, 2019, at approximately 4:15 a.m., the victim was found unresponsive in the Fort Street Mall and S. Beretania Street area with several stab wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where his pronouncement of death was made. The male has been identified as Marcus Imboand his death has been ruled a homicide.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two males who are wanted for Robbery in the FirstDegree.
On Saturday, August 11, 2019, at approximately 3:05 a.m., two masked male suspects entered the 7-Eleven store in Moanalua. Suspect #1 brandished a dark colored firearm at the cashier and demanded money. Suspect #2 went behind the counter and removed boxes of cigarettes. Both suspects removed money from the cash drawer and fled the scene.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department would like to inform the public about a Hawaiian Electric Company scam that is occurring.
There have been reports of residents receiving a call from someone purporting to be a Hawaiian Electric Company employee. The person is stating that the customer is delinquent on their electric bill and if immediate payment is not made, their electricity will be shut off. In one case, payment was made via credit card over the phone. Shortly after, the customer discovered that fraudulent charges had been made. A Hawaiian Electric Company spokesperson states the following.
Hawaiian Electric will never call a customer to ask for payment over the phone or threaten to immediately shut off service. If you receive a threatening call from a utility company, ‘Just hang up!’ and dial the customer service number listed on your actual bill or on the company website. Do not call the number on your caller ID because it will lead you right back to the scammer.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department would like to ask the public for their assistance in locating witnesses to a Motor Vehicle Collision that happened in the Waipahu area.
On Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at approximately 8:40 a.m., a black Chrysler 300 was being operated by an adult female in the Waipahu area, with three males riding on the trunk. The males later fell off and one of them sustained fatal injuries as a result.
CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department would like to ask the public for their assistance in locating witnesses to an Assault in the First Degree that happened in the Keeaumoku area.
On Sunday, July 28, 2019, approximately 4:00 a.m., the victim exited the Seoul Karaoke, located at 815 Keeaumoku Street, when he was assaulted with a baseball bat by an unknown suspect. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was diagnosed with serious bodily injuries.
CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest that was seen on surveillance video at the scene of three Arson cases which occurred in the Waikiki area.
On August 4, 2019, at approximately 10:05 p.m., security for the Alohilani Hotel responded to fire alarms on separate floors of the hotel. Both fires were found to be intentionally set and caused damages to the hotel premises.
On August 5, 2019, at approximately 7:45 p.m., an unknown suspect used an accelerant to ignite a fire causing property damages in the Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel. While the guests were evacuated from the hotel, two rooms had been burglarized. A male was seen on video surveillance carrying at least two backpacks that appear similar to the ones taken in the burglary.
On August 6, 2019, at approximately 8:38 p.m., a fire occurred at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Grand Waikikian Tower. It was determined that the fire had been intentionally set.
The person depicted in the photos was seen on video surveillance at three of the arson cases. He is a person of interest at this time.
CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating witnesses to a Cruelty to Animals in the First Degree case that happened at the Lualualei Beach Park in Waianae.
On Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at approximately 9:00 a.m., a local animal rescue group, received an anonymous call of a male burying a puppy in the sand. A representative responded to the scene and was able to locate and recover the puppy. The witness was able to obtain a partial description of the male suspect.
