Failure to Render Aid - News Release
February 18, 2016

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the driver of a white van, who struck a male pedestrian.

 

On Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at approximately 3:55 a.m., a 27-year-old male was crossing Farrington Highway near Piliokahi Street when he was struck by a white van that fled the scene. The victim was found by his father, who heard the crash. He found the victim lying on the highway. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition and has no recollection of the accident. The van may have front end damages.



Robbery Suspect
January 26, 2016

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male who is wanted for Robbery in the First Degree.

 

On Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at approximately 3:40 pm, a male entered the complainant’s residence located on McCandless Lane through an unlock door, brandished a weapon, took his property, and fled.

Theft Suspect
January 19, 2016

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male who is wanted for Theft in the Second Degree.

On January 7, 2016, at approximately 2:00 pm, a male offered to fix the complainant`s vehicle. She allowed him to enter her house to use the bathroom, at which time the suspect took the complainant`s purse and fled.

Height:         5’8” to 6`0"

Murder Suspect Wanted - News Release 001/16
January 05, 2016

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect(s) responsible for the murder of Hoang Van Nguyen.

 

On Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Nguyen was discovered deceased in his apartment located on North Hotel Street.  An autopsy later determined that his cause of death was suspicious, and the case was reclassified to Murder in the Second Degree. 

 

He was last seen alive on Sunday, December 27, 2015, at approximately

8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., near the intersection of North Hotel Street and River Street.  Nguyen’s vehicle, a 2007 silver Toyota Camry bearing Hawaii license plate

PDN 585, is missing.

Wanted Witnesses/Victims
September 28, 2015

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating witnesses or victims of recent BB gun incidents. From September 22 through 26, 2015, there have been five incidents reported involving BB guns in the Wahiawa and Pearl City areas.

 

On September 22, 2015, at approximately 5:45 p.m., a juvenile male was sitting at a bus stop on Hoolaulea Street when he was injured by a BB gun. On September 24, 2015, at approximately 7:55 p.m., a victim was standing in a parking lot on North Kamehameha Highway when he felt pain to his left hand.

 

Upon checking, he found that he had been shot with a BB gun and went to seek medical treatment. On September 25, 2015, at approximately 8:45 a.m., two incidents occurred near the Dole Plantation while the victims were driving. One victim had damage to his rear passenger door, and the other victim’s rear window was shattered by a shot from a BB gun.

 

On September 26, 2015, at approximately 11:25 a.m., the front window of a business on Kilani Avenue was damaged due to a BB gun shot. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on your cellular phone. On July 17, 2015, at approximately 7:38 p.m., a male entered the Hair One Salon located on 1019 Pensacola Street.  He brandished a handgun, demanded money, assaulted the victim, and fled in an unknown direction.

 Age:              40s to 50s

Robbery Suspect Wanted -News Release 035/15
July 09, 2015

Crimestoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male who is wanted for Robbery in the Second Degree.  On May 21, 2015, the victim allowed the male who she had previously met at Boda Café to try on her Versace necklace. The male took several photos of himself wearing the necklace, then struck the victim and fled.

Suspect: Unknown male possibly named Tony or Tommy

Race: African American

Age: 20 to 30

Height: 5’7” to 5’9”

Weight: 140 to 160 lbs.

Hair: Short dreadlocks

Eyes: Brown

June 23, 2015

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male wanted for robbing the 7-Eleven store located at 306 Kalihi Street.

 

On June 23, 2015, at approximately 1:50 a.m., a male entered the 7-Eleven store, brandished a handgun, and demanded money.  The male fled on foot in the Ewa direction on Republican Street.

 

Suspect:   Unknown male

Race:         Polynesian

Height:      6’0” to 6’2”

Weight:     270 to 300 lbs.

Clothing:  Black long sleeve shirt, tan shorts with brown stripes, silver colored tennis shoes, white shirt covering his face.

Robbery Suspects Wanted - News Release 030/15
June 22, 2015

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two males wanted for a robbery that occurred at the intersection of North Beretania Street and Smith Street.

 

On May 4, 2015, at approximately 6:20 p.m., two males approached the victim and demanded his bicycle.  One of the males grabbed the bicycle while the other male struck the victim.  The males fled with the bicycle in an unknown direction.

Wanted for Questioning - News Release 027/15
June 02, 2015

Crimestoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s
assistance in locating a male who is wanted for questioning in robbery that
occurred on May 12, 2015, at approximately 3:15 a.m., on the Ala Wai Boulevard near Namahana Street.
The victim was approached from behind by an unknown male and knocked
unconscious while walking on Ala Wai Boulevard. The male continued to assault the victim while he was unconscious on the ground and took his property. He then fled with four other teenage looking males on bicycles. A witness stated that one of the bicycles was a red low-rider with white colors. The victim suffered multiple injuries to the head and face.
